Frequently asked questions
Why isn't InstaPraxis on the App Store or Play Store?
We're a young product and chose to launch as a fast-installing Progressive Web App so we can ship updates every week without a 7-day app review cycle. You get all the same features — full-screen mobile app, push notifications, offline mode, home-screen icon — without waiting for an app-store approval.
Is it safe to install an app from a website?
Yes. On Android, the optional APK is signed by InstaDataHelp AI Services Pvt. Ltd. and your phone verifies the signature on every update. On iOS, "Add to Home Screen" is Apple's officially supported way to install web apps — the app runs in a sandboxed environment with no extra permissions beyond what your browser already has.
Will it work offline?
Yes. After your first login, your last appointments, prescriptions and vital-scan history are cached on the device. You can browse them even without internet. Booking new consultations and live video calls require connectivity, of course.
What about push notifications?
Once installed, InstaPraxis can send you appointment reminders, pre-consult chat messages and new-prescription alerts. On Android this works out of the box; on iPhone you'll see a small "Allow notifications" prompt after the first launch (requires iOS 16.4 or later).
How is this different from just opening the website?
Three things: (1) the app installs to your home screen with its own icon, so it's one-tap to open instead of typing a URL. (2) It runs full-screen with no browser bars, so you get the entire phone screen for content. (3) It works offline and sends push notifications. Behind the scenes it's the same secure InstaPraxis platform.
Will you have native iOS & Android apps later?
Yes — once we complete Apple Developer and Google Play onboarding (in progress). When the App Store / Play Store versions ship, you'll be able to switch over from the same login. Your data carries forward automatically.
Does it work for doctors and clinics too?
Yes — the same app supports three logins: Patient, Doctor, and Clinic / Hospital. After install, choose your role on the first screen. Doctors get the consultation queue, Quick Rx, patient history and medicines report; clinics get the multi-doctor ERP, rota, inventory and billing.
